“The Arm Doesn’t Bend Until The Hip Extends”

One of the most common faults we see with athletes performing any variation of the clean movement is an early break of the elbows. Athletes begin the pull with their arms before the bar has reached the pockets – limiting the power production of the “jump” that is the real force behind bar movement.
